I have lived in Portland for twenty years and I have never before seen this much snow for this long. We have about 3 feet on the ground at our house and there’s more on the way. Here are some more pix, just for fun.

It’s been blustery and snowing all day, making our woods exteremely pretty, so Steven and I decided to go for a walk. It’s unusual for us to get snow and I’m always amazed at how it transforms the landscape. The hummingbird is an Anna’s and has been very persistant visiting it’s feeder despite the frozen nectar and snow. We have two pairs of hummers that have been hanging around lately. Sometimes it’s just nice to take photos when there’s no assignment, just messing around and enjoying the world… (These photos were taken with the Canon 5D Mark ll.)
